Last year, there were many difficulties in the sports industry, including the postponement of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to Covid-19 pandemic worldwide, and it is also believed that our volleyball family had many difficulties economically and psychologically.

In 2021, I hope that the day when we overcome Covid-19 and return to our precious daily lives and enjoy watching volleyball games together will come soon.

In 2021, the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo. In the meantime, our Women's National Team has prepared for the Olympics. I hope the team will sincerely prepare until the end so that the flowers of the efforts could bloom at the Tokyo Olympics and repay your support.

Also, with the goal of the men's national team's participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics, we will try to make good results in preparation for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.

I am confident that it is an attractive sport that cannot be escaped once it is started. In order to find and foster youth players, we will regularly conduct player discovery projects and training sessions to promote volleyball. In addition, we will make efforts to foster the next generation volleyball players by conducting the existing nine-member sports competition with a six-member youth system so that excellent club players can be connected to professional players.
